[You only want to be a tyrant in the land and do not want to be of the amenders.] Qaṣaṣ:19
Firʿawn tells Mūsa ʿalayhis salām that he’s onto him. That he knows what Mūsa’s “real” intentions are for calling people to Allāh; it is not to benefit them but rather it is to give Prophet Mūsa command and supremacy over them.
We know this lie couldn’t be further from the Truth.
But then this is how it is with those who want to use any excuse to get the guilt of following their desires off of them, isn’t it?
They’ll call the Dāʿī arrogant, judgemental, self-righteous, a hypocrite – because of his past wrongs, you name it!
Sure, the Dāʿī must use a great amount of wisdom in his Daʿwah, but regardless of the Dāʿī’s approach he’ll still be picked on by the wicked few.
Just remember this when someone advises you and you (mentally or otherwise) start criticising the giver of this advise. Remember whose footsteps you’re following.
And remember his end.
