What is the purpose of this Telegram group?

The purpose of the group is to share announcements, class links, benefits, reflections and notes for classes with Ustādhah Abeer Sadary.
Announcements will be shared by Ustādhah or the admins. All sisters are encouraged to share gems and benefits, or to post their reflections and notes.
In order to ensure that the messages stay relevant to the group (regarding Ustādhah’s classes only), please do not post general queries (asking for teacher recommendations, requesting a masjid timetable), external links, fundraisers, forwards, etc.
This is an international group and Ustādhah has many students outside of London. We want to avoid too many notifications for the teacher and other sisters.
Please do not private message any of the admins.
What are the classes currently being taught and what is the schedule?
Ustādhah has 2 ongoing online classes and 2 ongoing onsite classes as follows:

Where can I find class notes for online classes?
To access student notes, please click the file tab in the Qurʾānic Reflection Study Group on Telegram. Some notes are also saved at this link.
Please note that any notes or reflections posted in the group are student notes and reflections. They have not been checked by Ustadhah. If you find any errors, please contact the person who posted them and inform them so they can revise and repost.
Where can I access the classes?
Sisters are encouraged to attend the classes live. For those who have other commitments or are in time zones where this is not possible, recordings are posted on www.quranicreflections.com.
The live stream may be accessed at the time of the class by logging in to the website. You will need to set up an account and password to access the site.

Where can I find the recording for a class I recently missed?
Recordings are posted on www.quranicreflections.com under class archives. Please note that Ustādhah edits and posts her own recordings and manages the website. Based on her other commitments, there may be a significant time lag before the recordings are posted. Ustādhah usually messages in the Telegram study group to inform sisters about updates.
Is there a link so I can share this group with my friend?
We recommend asking sisters to sign up via the website so they can be aware of Ustādhahs preferences regarding her classes and recordings. The sister would need a login account to access recordings anyway. However, the direct link is available on the livestream page.
Can brothers join this group?
No. This is a sisters only group.
Can brothers attend the classes?
No. Please ensure no men are able to listen to the talks (with the exception of small children). So please use headphones 🎧 if you are in a room where males are present.
Can I share recording links with my friends?
Please do not share the direct links to the talks with other sisters. If you know a sister interested in the talk, kindly direct her to register on the website (and to join the Telegram group from the link posted there).
Can I record or download a talk I enjoyed?
Please do not record or download any talk.
Can I ask Ustādhah questions in this group?
Ustādhah does not monitor this group very closely. Please use this link to ask questions.
The form is only for questions about classes or tarbiyyah questions.
Before asking a question, please search the Telegram group and class notes to ensure the question has not already been asked (do not ask in the group).
Due to time constraints, Ustādhah requests that you direct any fiqh questions to your local trusted masjid or scholar.
Please do not use this form for general questions about class links, schedules, etc.
How soon will I receive a response?
Ustādhah will check form responses every couple of weeks. She may not respond right away, as she may plan a response when it is relevant to the class she is teaching, so please be patient. Rest assured, the questions are all in one file, so she will respond as convenient.
Ustādhah will respond to all questions about the classes in an upcoming class. She responds to tarbiyyah questions either during the class (as relevant to what she is teaching), or at the end of the class. Sometimes she posts a recording in the group.
Qs and As will be posted in the Telegram group for 24 hours. The onus is on the person asking the question to attend the class or listen to the recording before the deadline to receive their response. Please do not ask sisters in the group to summarise or transcribe the response for you.
I don’t attend any of Ustādhah’s classes. How can I ask a question?
Due to time constraints, Ustādhah prefers responding to questions from her regular students. If you are not her student, you may want to redirect your question to one of your teachers.
How can I ask a confidential question?

Ustādhah stays back after the in-person classes to answer any questions that you might wish to ask confidentially.
