Today is the Equinox, an astronomical event which results in the sun rising at the North Pole after a six month long absence and it won’t set again until the next Equinox in September. Conversely, today the sun sets in the South Pole after half a year of continuous day light.

These two āyāt from sūrat al-Qaṣaṣ come to mind:

قل أرأيتم إن جعل الله عليكم الليل سرمدا إلى يوم القيامة من إله غير الله يأتيكم بضياء أفلا تسمعون ۞ قل أرأيتم إن جعل الله عليكم النهار سرمدا إلى  يوم القيامة من إله غير الله يأتيكم بليل تسكنون فيه أفلا تبصرون.

Say, “Have you considered: if Allāh should make for you the night continuous until the Day of Resurrection, what deity other than Allāh could bring you light again? Then will you not hear?” ۞
Say, “Have you considered: if Allāh should make for you the day continuous until the Day of Resurrection, what deity other than Allāh could bring you a night in which you may rest again? Then will you not see?”﴿  al-Qaṣaṣ:71-72

Who brings forth night and day? If He was to cause an everlasting night or an everlasting day, what power do you—or those who you worship besides Allāh—have against that?!
Can you imagine the catastrophic impact on our lives if this was to happen?

And if this is hard for you to imagine, then you have this bi-yearly phenomenon to bring this idea closer to home.

A six month long day and a six month long night, not everlasting, but it does have a significant impact on this planet and subsequently on life on this planet.

What power do you have against that?

These mighty signs of the Almighty Creator should humble the mindful ones.
