The ‘Akhlāq Ṭālib al-Qurʾān’ is a series we began over a year ago. Under this series we did independent lectures every other month on topics related to Akhlāq.
This series was meant to offer supplementary lessons to students of the Qurʾān to facilitate their study.
This talk will be the last in the series.
The previous talks are all recorded and available to the students who sign up inshāʾAllāh.
As we wrap up the ‘Akhlāq Ṭālib al-Qurʾān’ series, we will zoom in on an oft-repeated question: How.
How do you inculcate the Akhlāq that the Qurʾān calls towards? How do you rectify your own character? How do you emulate the one whose character was described as “the Qurʾān”? Peace and blessings be upon him.
Starting with the Ḥadīth, “His Character was the Qurʾān”, as the foundation for our discussion, we will look at some practical steps, examples, and a workshop style discussion of the verses throughout the Qurʾān that call to different praiseworthy traits that all believers should strive to adopt, but more so the students of the Qurʾān.
