Instead of wishing that something ḥarām was ḥalāl, why not make duʿāʾ that Allāh makes everything ḥarām hated to you?

A heart rich with īmān (faith) would never want to take a second glance at what Allāh has deemed impermissible.

 وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ حَبَّبَ إِلَيْكُمُ الْإِيمَانَ وَزَيَّنَهُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَكَرَّهَ إِلَيْكُمُ الْكُفْرَ وَالْفُسُوقَ وَالْعِصْيَانَ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الرَّاشِدُونَ

“But Allah has endeared to you the faith and has made it pleasing in your hearts and has made hateful to you disbelief, defiance and disobedience. Those are the [rightly] guided.” –
al-Ḥujurāt:7

No one should be given so much access to your heart that they beautify the ḥarām to you.
