One Surah that Muslim youth need to reflect on is Surah Al Kahaf.
Though the lessons in it are for everyone, the lessons for us – specifically – are simply profound.
[Indeed, they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We increased them in guidance] Kahaf:13
The people of the cave were young men who only sought to obey their Lord, and because of this Allah subḥāneh wa t’āla did the rest. He protected them in ways no one could imagine (dozing off for a few hundred years anyone?), and because of their belief and obedience to their Lord, He increased them in blessings and what is a greater blessing than guidance – the Nūr – of Allah?
If you want a share in this, then do as they did; believe and act upon this belief.
