The Qur`ānic advice and thus the best course of action is to look out for our families. Part of this is making sure their hearts are at peace. One way of achieving this is by telling them where you are going and WHY.
Learn from Prophet Mūsa ‘alayhis salām. He had such an important task that our entire lives put together won’t compare to a speckle of its greatness, yet he was humble enough to give assurance to his family before he approached his destiny.
