Jinns and Their Lord

August 23, 2012

[And we do not know whether evil is intended for those on earth or whether their Lord intends for them a right course.] Jinn:10

In the previous ayah, a group of Jinns are describing their days of jahiliya and that they weren’t aware of their destiny and weren’t sure what their Lord intended for them. But look, when they speak about Allah they speak SO humbly that they do not even associate the POSSIBILITY that Allah Subḥāneh might want ill for them; “evil is intended for those on earth” or “whether their Lord intends for them a right course”.
But look at us, human beings – the best of creation – we mock the concept of a God and associate and accept those who shamelessly mock God. Subḥān Allah.

If you want to teach your children about Jinns, teach them this; their love and veneration of Allah.
